Abstract

Designing controllers for non-linear systems whose dynamics is unknown is hard. In this talk, we discuss a result for designing controllers from data for a class of non-linear systems.

Biographical information

Claudio De Persis is a professor with the Engineering and Technology Institute at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, since 2011. He received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering from the University of Rome "la Sapienza" in 2000. He was a postdoctoral researcher with Washington University in St. Louis (2000-2001) and Yale University (2001-2002). He held faculty positions at University of Rome "la Sapienza" (2002-2009) and Twente University, Enschede (2009-2011).
